Human Oocyte And Embryo Cryopreservation
نویسنده
چکیده
The technology so far applied clinically has been based directly on traditional human embryo cryopreservation protocols, and has produced relatively few offspring. Fortunately to date, no abnormalities have been reported from these pregnancies, regardless of the persistent concerns that freezing and thawing of mature oocytes may disrupt the meiotic spindle and thus increase the potential for aneuploidy in the embryos arising from such eggs. With respect to cryostorage of donated oocytes there have been several reports that have shown some success with this approach (Polak de Fried et al, 1998; Tucker et al, 1998a; Yang et al, 1998 & personal communication). Six pregnancies have generated 10 babiesAppendix 1.

Background: The cryopreservation of human oocyte would make significant contribution to fertility treatments. It could also provide on alternative to embryo preservation for avoidance ethical problems. Embryo cryopreservation is now a successful procedure, but oocyte cryopreservation has poorer results. Materials and Methods: For retrieval of oocyte NMRI mouse were used. after administration of...

Background: Oocyte, embryo and ovarian tissue cryopreservation are proposed for fertility preservation to cancer patients who hope to be mothers after getting rid of the disease. Materials and Methods: Embryo cryopreservation is not possible for unmarried single girls without sperm partner and oocyte retrieval is a long time procedure. Thus ovarian tissue cryopreservation is suggested for ferti...
متن کاملInm-2: New Approaches in Cryopreservation
Cryopreservation of embryos and gametes has become an indispensible service for infertility treatment. Vitrification is now a prevalent technique for cryopreservation in assisted reproductive technology (ART) replacing, in many cases, conventional slow cooling methodology. Fertility preservation in female patients has become a very topical issue. Various malignant and nonmalignant diseases have...
متن کاملOocyte Cryopreservation for the Elective Preservation of Reproductive Potential
Cryopreservation has been a technique used in reproductive endocrinology and infertility medicine since the early 1980s. Embryo cryopreservation, specifically, has been widely used in many in vitro fertilization (IVF) programs worldwide. This method has been well studied and is a common strategy employed for storing supernumerary embryos after IVF cycles, among other applications. Oocyte cryopr...

OBJECTIVE To evaluate the safety and risk of cryopreservation in female fertility preservation. DATA SOURCES The data analyzed in this review were the English articles from 1980 to 2013 from journal databases, primarily PubMed and Google scholar. The criteria used in the literature search show as following: (1) human; embryo; cryopreservation/freezing/vitrification, (2) human; oocyte/immature...
متن کاملHuman oocyte cryopreservation.
The clinical role of oocyte cryopreservation in assisted reproduction, as an adjunct to sperm and embryo cryopreservation, has been comparatively slow to evolve as a consequence of theoretical concerns related to efficacy and safety. Basic biological studies in the 1990's alleviated many of these concerns leading to more widespread adoption of the technology. While a number of babies were born ...
